Competitive advantages in the consumer market

Long before Geomarketing, thousands of years ago, still in ancient Greece, there was a temple dedicated to the god Apollo that was located in the city of Delphi.

There was a prophetess there capable of predicting the fate of people

For this reason, people from all backgrounds and social classes sought her out when they had dilemmas or concerns.

In this temple was inscribed the phrase:

Get to know yourself

A deep understanding of yourself helps you make more conscious decisions aligned with personal values, contributing to a more authentic and satisfying life.

Centuries later, companies and professionals seek self-knowledge as a measure for strategies that are more aligned with consumers' desires and, consequently, more profitable.

This is the greatest benefit that Geomarketing offers to companies that know how to use it, knowledge about their audiences and about their true role in the territories where they operate

Returning to ancient Greece, it is interesting to note that it was the prophetess of the temple of Apollo in Delphi who started the tragedy Oedipus the King.

By warning the King of Thebes, Laius, that his son, still a child, as an adult, would kill him and marry his wife, she triggers the sequence of acts that lead to the fulfillment of his prophecy.

In a certain part of the story, Oedipus is faced with a sphinx that blocks the entrance to the city and imposes an enigma with the condition:

Decipher me or I'll devour you

Again, centuries later, we see that this is also a truth that remains when we observe companies that fail to understand their customers being devoured by their competitors.
